Energy
management and load monitoring are an important function performed
by building maintenance teams.
By including the Cube range of meters within all switchgear
at the time of installation, the whole buildings electrical
system can be monitored and logged at a central location.
The meters monitor all electrical parameters including energy,
power, reactive power, power factor, current, voltage and
harmonics.
Because
the Cube range of meters have an integrated RS485 interface
they can be wired together onto a multi-drop bus to the computer.
The system is expandable allowing new installations to be
added to the system. High speed communications permits real
time monitoring of perameters via the MMV6 software package,
which runs on any standard PC. A logging facility allows collection
of data for energy management, costing and system monitoring
purposes.
